It’s not normal to feel this way about someone. Shiro knows that, and, logically, he understands that Keith is a big boy who can make his own choices, but this is a young man Shiro watched grow up, who he grew with, side-by-side, who he mentored and looked after. There’s no question in Shiro’s mind that he’s sick in the head, that Keith deserves better than him, that he deserves someone as unblemished and untouched, as perfect, but Keith wants Shiro, and Shiro is too selfish to say no.
